Carol came up with the whole business idea herself. She got married in 2020 and wanted draft beer (because it’s WAY better than bottles/cans). When she couldn’t find any caterer in the upstate that offered draft beer, she pitched this idea to her daughter Alyssa and they bought Ole Blue and the business took off. Carol has been a nurse her entire life so she is really enjoying this change of pace. Now, Carol has become quite the woodworker. From building our bars to creating our drains- she can do it all. The employees at Lowes know her by name!

Alyssa is a full time nanny to a 3, 5 and 6 year old- and has been with them for four years! She just had a little girl of her own in May (future business owner). She is taking a break from physically being at events to adapt into her new role as “Mom”, BUT you may see her every so often pouring a beer with her baby in tow. She grew up performing in musicals, she loves to sing and play piano. Now she enjoys creating content for social media and finding the latest festivals to bring the trucks to!
